• What is the Invoices module?
  • The Invoice Module is a new module within Fishbowl Drive that allows users to view all invoices and their associated accounting transactions within the module. It also provides a direct link to the corresponding invoice in QuickBooks Online.

• Why was this module developed?
  • This module was developed to improve the transparency and relationship between Fishbowl Drive and QuickBooks Online, particularly to address issues with partial shipments/fulfillments where sales orders didn't match invoices. Previously, users couldn't find a place to compare invoices between systems even with running reports. They had to look at an invoice in QuickBooks Online and then compare as best as possible with the Sales Order in Fishbowl and they wouldn't always match due to partial shipments. Now, it's all accessible in one place.

• Who benefits most from this feature?
  • Drive users who handle accounting tasks and manage invoices will benefit the most, especially those integrated with QuickBooks Online. This is not available for QuickBooks Desktop users.

• How does this improve customer experience?
  • Customers now have a clear understanding of what will be posted to accounting, reducing errors and support calls related to data discrepancies. The ability to see all relevant information in one place also saves time and simplifies workflows.

• Where is the Invoices module located?
  • The Invoices module is found in the Accounting module group.

• When does an invoice show up in this module?
  • Once a sales order has been partially shipped or completely shipped the invoice will appear in the invoice module.

• When does the QuickBooks Online link show up in the Invoices module?
  • Once an export has been performed the invoice will provide a link to the invoice that was generated in QuickBooks Online.

• How do I remove permissions to see the Invoices module?
  • The permissions to the Accounting module group control if you can see the Invoices module.

• Why can't I edit details in the Invoices module?
  • The Invoices module is designed to display the information of what has been fulfilled as a sales order. If you need to edit information you would need to void the shipment of the sales order to back it out and then you can make changes.
